Wedding Photography at Percy park rugby club

Kaylee & Andrew Jeffrey 7th June 2014
Percy Park rugby club

Kaylee & Andrew got married at North Shields registry office, it’s a lovely light and bright venue which we always enjoy visiting. They were then off to Percy Park Rugby Club in North Shields for their reception. The colour theme of the wedding was Cadbury purple and this was continued throughout bridesmaid dresses, flowers and venue decor

Kaylee got ready at her dads house with her parents, bridesmaids and her gorgeous little girl Emma.
She had a friend from a local Tynemouth salon do all the girls hair in some amazing up do’s. The make-up artist did a wonderful job with everyone’s make up and they all looked stunning.

Kaylee dressed in a beautiful Tom Flowers Luna gown with layers of fabric, it was a dress fit for a princess and she looked amazing. A diamante veil and sparkly jewellery completed the look. Little Emma had a pretty flower girl dress and the bridesmaids were in purple floor length dresses with matching bouquets.

Kaylee travelled to her wedding in style in a cream vintage Bentley with her dad to the ceremony. Emotions were running high in the ceremony room waiting for the bride to arrive with Andrew looking rather nervous at the front with his best man and his mum for support. An usher was handing out personalised tissues at the entrance to guests, it was clearly expected to be an emotional day for all!

Emma and the bridesmaids came down the aisle with Emma carrying a little plaque with ‘Daddy here come’s mammy’ and looked super cute.

Kaylee came in with her father who looked so proud to be walking his daughter down the aisle. The couple sat while the registrar went through the service, they stood to make their own heartfelt personal vows. Ben their son gave the rings over to the registrar and Kaylee and Andrew exchanged rings and a nervous Andrew was finally able to kiss his bride! We all headed to the terrace outside for some group photos and some traditional confetti throwing which we managed to get finished just before the rain started!

The couple met at Tynemouth so we popped across to the priory for some shots, due to the downpour we couldn’t get them out the car but managed to squeeze in a couple of pictures of them in the car with the priory in the background!

The room at the Rugby club was decorated beautifully with white trees adorned with crystals and butterflies and everyone sat down for an amazing buffet meal. There were speeches from the father of the bride and the groom, these were both heartfelt and got a little emotional, you could see Kaylees dad was very proud of her and Andrew was so happy to have Kaylee as his wife now. The best man had a great light hearted speech full of jokes and humour which gave the room a bit of a giggle!

We went outside afterwards to get some fun shots with the boys, they got quite attached to our props and all loved the shades for some cool photos! Not to be outdone the girls were fabulous and had a lot of fun together. We spent some time capturing some romantic couple’s photos of the bride and groom together for them to treasure forever and remember their big day. You can see the love between the couple in the images and get a real sense of how happy they were throughout the whole day.

The evening reception was a family affair with all their closest friends and families joining them for the night. The kids had a great time running around being mischievous and devouring the cute candy buffet that was set up! You can see how much Emma was enjoying the candy necklaces, cheeky monkey! Bride and groom had their first dance then everyone joined them on the dance floor, Kaylee also had a special dance with her dad.
We have had a fantastic time working through their images of the day, they are a lovely family and have gorgeous photos that will transport them back to the day in a glance. We know they are very excited to receive their cute usb package from us soon to look at all their photos!
There were a number of fabulous suppliers involved in the occasion and putting together this amazing day, details are below!
