Newcastle Civic Centre
Jackie and Paul had their wedding ceremony at The Civic Centre in Newcastle Upon Tyne and asked us be their photographers. We don’t do very many part day weddings but they were having a lovely small wedding with their closest friends and family for the day. They held a reception at The Lindisfarne in Wallsend.
Jackie arrived style travelling in a beautiful old Beauford vintage car with her bridesmaid and her little girl. The weather was not on everyone’s side as it was pouring but that certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits for the day!
Guests were all keeping dry waiting inside and the groom greeted everyone and waited nervously at the front for Jackie to arrive.
Jackie’s son had the very important job of walking her down the aisle. The service was lovely and the couple said their vows, exchanged wedding rings and after a kiss the register was signed.
We had some family photos in the room with the register with the witnesses and other family members. Thankfully the rain had started to ease when we came out of the wedding venue!
We still managed to get some lovely couples photos and the kids had fun with our umbrellas! The rain did stop for a short while long enough for us to sneak in some shots with the wedding car. Then we headed off the reception. We had some more family photos there and captured the cake cut and even got to the garden for a little confetti throw! Everyone was having a great time when we left, we’re sure they had a fabulous party night!

Wedding photographer seems to be a professional one. Planning to organize a reception party for my brother at one of the lavish Los Angeles venues next month. Will surprise couple with matching outfits and their favorite theme cakes. Saw many decoration designing and enhanced lighting ideas too.
