Wedding photographer at St.Nicholas church, Cramlington

Jill & Andrew 6th September 2014
St.Nicholas church & The Plough

Jill and Andrew met us while we were photographing their friends wedding earlier in the year in February, they booked us to photograph their own wedding soon after. Its lovely when people book us from seeing us in action! The had their Ceremony at St Nicholas Church in Cramlington and then held their reception at The Plough just across the road.

Getting Ready
Jill got ready at her sisters house with her friends and family, including the couples daughter chloe, around her. They were all calm and cool when we arrived. The make up artist was finishing perfectly applying the brides make up and she was ready for her hair while the bridesmaids had their make up done too. Everyone looked fabulous and were all glam ready for the big event!

Jill had a beautiful wedding dress and her bridesmaids helped her into it. The flowers had a arrived, chloe was ready as flower girl while the bridesmaid’s were dressed too and everyone was ready for the off after a drink of prossecco. The bridesmaid’s left in the car first and jill was left with her dad waiting for the car to collect her.

At the church Andrew was already there with his best man waiting for Jill to arrive. The cars were a bit late so its a good job he didn’t look too nervous!

The Ceremony
The bridal procession entered the church and Jills dad proudly walked his daughter down the aisle to meet her groom.
The church service was lovely, there were vows made, the rings exchanged and Andrew got to kiss his new wife! The register was signed to make everything official and the couple came back up the aisle looking over the moon!

We stayed outside the church for a big group photograph and the family formal photos. We try to keep the formal photos as brief as possible so guests don’t get bored waiting around. We had a great confetti throw at the entrance too!

The Bride and Groom Photographs
The guests left the church to go across to the reception venue (a handy 2 minute walk across the road!) while we spent some time with the couple alone to allow them to relax a little in front of the camera. We had a lovely set of photos with the wedding car and in the back of the car and had a walk around the grounds of the church as well resulting in some beautiful images.

The Speeches
The newlyweds headed into the reception venue to get ready for the meal The room was beautifully decorated in Cadbury Purple decor to match the wedding them with pretty balloons and bird cages adorning the tables. Before the meal were the speeches. We hear some heartfelt words from the Groom Andrew, Jills dad also had a great speech prepared and the best man took the stage with his ten page long comedy speech much to everyones entertainment!

After the meal we managed to pop back outside in the gardens on The Plough to get a few more shots with friends and family, just before the rain started and we had to dash back indoors!

Party Time!
The room was transformed and turned around for the evening reception and the DJ was set up with lights and music ready to get the party started! The bride and groom took centre stage on the dance floor for the first dance.

We set off one of our fab confetti cannons to add to the fun and give a different look to some of the photos.

After that everyone got on the dance floor to party the night away. The guests all seemed to be having a fabulous evening really enjoying themselves

Thank you so much Jill and Andrew for asking us to be part of your day. We hope you treasure your photos for years to come and they give you the perfect memory of the day. Congratulations again!
