Newcastle wedding photographer at North Shields registry office

Michelle and Jordan 12th September 2014

North Shields registry office & Holiday inn, Jesmond

Michelle met us a while back while we were photographing the evening reception for one of her friends. She loved our work and the projector service we offer had her very taken with us, so it was settled that she wanted to book us! Its great that people book us after seeing us work as they have the true knowledge of our style and personality.
They had their ceremony at North Shields Registry Office then the reception at The Holiday
Inn in Jesmond

Getting Ready
Michelle got ready at home with her mum anther other friends and family. Her hair was perfectly curled and she applied all her own make up. She was a little bit excited when we got there which was lovely. The bridesmaids and flower girl all had their hair and make up done and we ready to get into their dresses. Michelle’s dad arrived and was nervously pacing the back garden practicing his speech!

The bridesmaids carefully helped Michelle into her stunning lace bridal gown and fastened the corset back for her. With her veil added, her shoes and jewellery on (after a bit of help) the bride was ready to go and looked amazing!
The wedding car took the bridesmaids and Micelles mum to the registry office then came back for Michelle and her dad.
At the registry office Jordan was looking a little nervous waiting for his bride to be with his best man and the ushers.

The Ceremony
The bride had arrived and they were ready to enter the room. Everyone stood for the bridal procession to come down the aisle and Michelle’s dad looked thrilled to walk her down the aisle. The couple stood together and made their all important vows to each other and exchanged wedding rings. They had their first kiss as husband and wife and signed the register to make it official! We left the room with the happy couple and everyone went to the courtyard outside for some fab confetti throwing and the formal photos.

The Couple’s Photographs
Michelle and Jordan had arranged a vintage double decker red bus to take guests to the reception venue which is a fab idea to get everyone there! We jumped on board to take advantage of the setting before it made its journey! We got some fab shots with the charm of the bus!

The beautiful wedding car took the bride and groom down to Jesmond Dene so we could capture some gorgeous country style photographs. There was a small disaster when we got there of the wedding car developing a puncture and the wheel was going down fast! After the driver made a quick call to HQ it was all going to be sorted out while were were taking the photos so not to worry! We had a short walk around the Dene stopping and the scenic waterfall and bridge and using every opportunity we found along the way.

Michelle and Jordan were very relaxed and happy to try anything we suggested. They were full of fun and we really enjoyed ourselves taking their photos. This is so important with wedding photos that people can be relaxed and enjoy themselves, it really brings out the best results! its important that when you choose your wedding photographer that not only you like their work and packages etc but also that you like the people that will be taking the photographs too!

When we got back to the car the wheel was being changed and in a flash they were ready to head off again for the reception! Crisis averted thanks to a good car company that have a plan for any issues!

The Speeches
Everyone moved into the room for the reception which began with the speeches. Michelle’s dad went first and had a lovely speech. The groom was next in line and thanked everyone for coming and told his new wife how beautiful she was. The best man, which was also Jordan’s dad, gave a great speech with tales of Jordan being younger and the early stages of the couples relationship. It was a brilliant speech from him. Everyone then settled down to the meal and hit the candy buffet afterwards.
We tucked ourselves away outside with our laptop in the bar area getting a taster of the images ready to go into the slideshow for the projector to be set up for the evening reception.
We had a little free time so spent a bit of time with the groomsmen and the bridesmaids doing some jumping and strutting for the camera before the evening do began!

Party Time!
The room was ready for the evening reception and the DJ was set up with lights and music ready to get the party started! There was also a band set up for evening entertainment. The projector slideshow was playing and when everyone came in the room they all gathered round to watch the photos from the day. They got a great reception from everyone and even made us blush a little as we got round of applause at the end of the photos. Thanks guys you made our night! The bride and groom did a quick cutting of the gorgeous wedding cake then they hit the dance floor for the first dance then everyone else got up on the dance floor to join them!

After a bit of music from the DJ the band got going and there was more great dancing and the drinks were flowing.
Everyone seemed to be having a fabulous evening really enjoying themselves and when we left they were tucking into the buffet- must have worked up an appetite on the dance floor!
Thank you so much to Jordan and Michelle for choosing us to be part of their fun filled day. We hope you love your photos as much as we do they give you the perfect memory of the day.

All the best for the future!
